Hi all,

Starting a guide to help newbies understand the purpose of items that can be crafted and the gain they offer.

This is something that caused me to ask many questions in the tavern. Maybe other beginners could benefit from having the same information all in one place. Blacksmith items the quality levels are all related to durability.

Item: Bed
Purpose:- To increase your Max Stamina upon reset. Differing levels of Stamina Gain depending on quality of item.
Cheap / Stamina +2
Normal / Stamina +4
Expert / Stamina +6
Master / Stamina +8
Grand Master / Stamina +10
Grail / Stamina +12

Item: Cheese Curdle
Purpose:- To allow production of cheese from milk

Item: Empty Barrel
Purpose:-

Item: Fishing Rod
Purpose:- To Allow Fishing when equipped

Item: Blanket
Purpose:- To increase the rate of Life Point renewal upon reset /per day. Differing levels of Life Points Gain depending on quality of item.

Purpose:- To allow you to equip additional tools on your person. Initially 2 slots for tools with cheap belt one extra slot etc

Item: Full Barding
Purpose:-

I'll contribute with all I know lol

Bed gives 2 daily stamina for each additional level, so,
Cheap / Stamina +2
Normal / +4
Expert / +6
Master / +8
Grand Master / + 10
Grail /  + 12


And Staff allows doing stuff at the same level, so: (Pretty sure you have shaft repeated in your list, btw)
Item: Shaft
Purpose:- 
Cheap / Required in the production of some cheap stuff
Normal / Required in the production of some Normal stuff
Expert / Required in the production of some Expert stuff
Master / Required in the production of some Master stuff
Grand Master / Required in the production of some Grandmaster stuff
Grail /  Required in the production of some Grail stuff

ty harold.
Added bed and removed extra listing of shaft.  you mention staff and shaft as same thing. Staff is weapon. right now unless I go check I think shaft gets processed to become weapon.

For stat potions (IE str, spd, int) you get +10 for that personal skill, the quality determines how many days the potion's affects last, cheap: 1, normal :2, ect.

Cheese potions ripen cheese completely without the 7 day wait, and pig potions fatten the pig without corn.  Both potions have a chance of failure either ruining the batch or blowing up the pig, your chance is affected by the quality of the potion.  I'm not sure about the %s.

Cheese curdle:  Quality determines how much milk you can fill in at once, cheap: 30, normal 33, expert 36, ect.

Empty barrel:  Quality determines durability.

potion of joy seems to give 20 * grade in mood points
leather shoes give + 4 walking skill no matter the grade(uncomfirmed,assumption),and 300 * grade in durability
blanket is 1 * grade in health points at reset(if i recall right)

horse shoes is + 6 riding skill no matter the grade(assumption) and 800 * grade in durability

Boots are improved forrm of leather shoes.

Wool cape increases the disguise skill.

Look at the various crafting guides-most of them have this info spread out between them.
